Vacancy: Fork-lift Truck Driver

CorrBoard UK has a vacancy for a fork-lift truck driver, who will be responsible for identifying goods that are to be moved or handled, unloading and loading lorries and general warehouse/housekeeping duties within the factory.

  • Identify the goods that are to be moved or handled
  • Spot hazards from moving/ handling goods, and take appropriate action to minimise any risks
  • Use suitable methods to handle goods correctly and safely
  • Operate Take off (finished goods – direct from production)
  • Position and set down goods correctly in the desired location
  • Ensure goods are placed in areas where they can be identified and accessed easily
  • Identify any problems with the raw material at any stage and take the appropriate action to deal with them
  • Comply with the company’s procedures and all relevant legal, safety and operating requirements relating to the movement or handling of goods
  • Understand and apply Quality Standards and Procedures
  • Record data accurately for the use of reports as required
  • Assume responsibility for general warehouse duties/housekeeping
  • Undertake perpetual stock control during the month on a live system
  • Show a good eye for detail.

The position is full-time and permanent, working a three-shift pattern (6am until 2pm, 10pm until 6am and 2pm until 10pm), also Saturdays on a rota basis (6am until 2pm).

Ideally you will be computer-literate with an FLT counterbalance certificate, either current or expired.

Full training on loading, scanning and the booking out procedure will be given.

Vacancy: Engineer

CorrBoard UK is the home of one of the most sophisticated sheetfeeding corrugator systems in the UK. We require an experienced engineer to join our Engineering team (preferably with an electrical bias). 

We are looking for individuals with the following:

  • a strong manufacturing background
  • an enthusiastic, hardworking attitude
  • the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • a good communicator with a record of working safely to high standards

Corrugating experience would be beneficial but full training will be provided.

Hours: Shifts – three shift rotation 6am until 2pm, 10 pm until 6am and 2pm until 10pm.

Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience
